Gardasil. Getting parents over the line

Challenge

The choice to vaccinate your kids against HPV should be easy, just a signature on the school form is all it takes. However, the COVID-19 pandemic created a huge, global debate about vaccinations. The hangover from this is that many parents are often hesitant to immunise their children. When they turn to the internet for answers, they are more often than not served up with misinformation and anti-vaxx scaremongering. 

We needed to help undecided parents find answers from trusted sources, like their family GPs. 

Outcome

We started by acknowledging the struggle that parents face, and the process of weighing up the pros and ‘cons’. We demonstrated this kind of indecision and showed where they could get answers they could trust - their GP or the HPV website.
